Our role
FASSAS brings together leagues, clubs and athletes to develop lifesaving, first aid and underwater activities. The platform supports licence applications and access to federal information.
Our organisation
The Federation provides the national framework. Leagues provide territorial coordination. Clubs support participants and their applications. The federal board and technical leadership carry out their respective responsibilities.
Our milestones
The Federation’s registration receipt is no. 01 of 14 January 1974. Its headquarters are at 20, avenue du 1er Novembre, Algiers.
International connections
FASSAS is affiliated with the World Underwater Federation (CMAS), code ALG/F00, in its scientific, technical and sports committees. It is a full ILS member in the ILS Africa region and a founding member since 1994.
International affiliations
FASSAS is affiliated with CMAS and is a full member of the International Life Saving Federation.
